Role Overview

Are you enthusiastic about pioneering security, compliance, and access management solutions? The AFT-Identity team is committed to developing robust solutions that safeguard the millions of daily transactions between users, devices, and services. As a Senior Program Manager within this team, you will tackle technical challenges related to Authentication, Authorization, User and Permissions Lifecycle Management, and Compliance for both internal and external associates. You will spearhead the creation of solutions and frameworks integral to Amazon's global fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design, implementation, and deployment of software services tailored to meet the IAM, Security, and Compliance requirements specific to the AFT Fulfillment domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Development Managers, Principal Engineers, Program Managers, and Operations leaders, to envision and develop user-centric solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality software for devices, services, and infrastructure components, ensuring compliance with industry security standards.
  • Advocate for the developer community by promoting the adoption of IAM solutions that enhance security while sharing insights on effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering practices.
  • Mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the software community.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate progress tracking and swift issue identification.

About the Team

The AFT team is dedicated to powering Amazon's global fulfillment network. We innovate and deliver software, hardware, and data science solutions that synchronize processes, robotics, machinery, and personnel, ensuring that Amazon customers receive their orders on time.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
