KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement
  • Initiate new bookings and efficiently manage shipment routing to optimize service and profitability.
  • Resolve issues collaboratively with clients and service providers (airlines and delivery agents).
  • Act as a key communication link for all customer service and documentation inquiries.
  • Oversee freight logistics throughout the shipment lifecycle, coordinating closely with carriers and agents.
  • Track shipments from order initiation to delivery, ensuring timely performance.
  • Engage with customers extensively through various communication channels.
  • Assist drivers, agents, and carriers in acquiring essential information.
  • Contribute to team success by executing assigned tasks as needed.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming communications effectively.
  • Resolve logistics service challenges promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Support both new and existing customer accounts to drive business growth.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with carriers through transparent communication to ensure effective transportation.
  • Provide clients with tailored, cost-effective transportation solutions to meet service goals.
  • Prepare and present quotes for clients and vendors.
  • Adhere to communication protocols and policies to fulfill customer objectives.
Operational Excellence
  • Apply knowledge of specialized freight handling and delivery specifications.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in order documentation, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Propose enhancements to business processes and procedures when relevant.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Review vendor invoices flagged by the accounting team for discrepancies.
