Position Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain is a seasoned executive in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, international, and retail operations, who has made a significant impact through strategic and tactical leadership of large-scale distribution and order fulfillment centers. This role encompasses the optimization of small parcel freight spend/service and management of third-party drop-ship partners. With a comprehensive understanding of omni-channel retail, this position oversees the Distribution, Logistics, Sales Operations, and Customer Service divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance efficiency and profitability across the company's operations by developing a multi-year strategic plan for Distribution, Logistics, Fulfillment, Customer Service, and Sales Operations.
  • Establish long-term objectives and strategies for distribution and transportation teams, monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Implement operational best practices in close collaboration with planning and sales teams.
  • Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance business processes, ensuring the highest level of customer experience.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices for performance monitoring to optimize quality and delivery timelines.
  • Define technology and automation requirements to support key project initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and support to retain and motivate high-caliber staff.
  • Aim for a world-class supply chain, warehousing, and order fulfillment logistics operation.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery across all operations teams.
  • Oversee outbound transportation processes and negotiate parcel freight agreements.
  • Manage annual operations budgets effectively.
  • Engage regularly with the executive leadership team and department heads to align operational priorities with the overall company direction.
  • Build and lead a high-performance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading and developing teams across distribution, fulfillment, sales operations, and customer service.
  • Proven strategic retail leader with a track record of enhancing profitability through alignment between business and corporate levels.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in global apparel production, logistics, and coordination.
  • Ability to gather and translate requirements from multiple stakeholders into well-defined objectives.
  • Strategic Operations leader capable of setting direction and aligning teams for successful delivery.
  • Experience managing ERP data with internal systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship management, networking, negotiation, and prioritization abilities.
  • Outstanding team leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Operations or a related field.
