As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Project Manager or Program Director by offering both construction and administrative assistance. Your involvement will span various projects, including network upgrades, renovations, and new construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


• Understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications


• Prepare and manage change orders and work authorizations


• Review, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Submittals


• Assist in evaluating project costs and generating financial reports


• Participate in project meetings and document minutes

Additional Duties


• Set up projects in financial management software


• Support the creation of purchase orders and subcontract agreements


• Aid in the application process for local permits and licenses


• Help source materials, vendors, and contractors, while assessing proposals and compiling budget estimates


• Prepare project closeout documentation


• Organize and maintain various files and reports

Qualifications


• 2-4+ years of experience in the construction or a related field is preferred


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential


• A BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience is required
