Position Overview

As the Culinary Operations Manager at Boston Pizza Restaurants, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager. Your primary duties will encompass recruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to guarantee efficient operations and outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for achieving financial objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing personnel, and maintaining high culinary and service standards. It is essential to keep the kitchen environment clean, hygienic, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and cultivate a positive and enjoyable workplace culture.
  • Enhance revenue by ensuring customer satisfaction through remarkable dining experiences.
  • Deliver a warm and inviting customer-focused atmosphere.
  • Develop kitchen staff schedules aligned with budgetary goals and service targets.
  • Meet food cost and safety benchmarks, along with health inspection standards.
  • Encourage a collaborative team environment with a positive mindset.
  • Ensure adherence to operational and workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Implement necessary security protocols for the safety of guests, employees, and the establishment.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in a full-service dining establishment.
  • Proven leadership skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Competence in computer software (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and an authoritative management approach.
  • Leadership attributes such as delegation, coaching, and oversight.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of budgets and operational costs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills to exceed guest expectations.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform efficiently during peak periods of high volume.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
