Sales and Distribution Leader

Vita Coco is a leading brand of coconut water in the United States, with a growing presence around the world. We offer a range of natural products, including clean energy drinks, premium canned water, and protein-infused water.
As a Retail Sales Manager at Vita Coco, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets in the Chicago market. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with key retail accounts, and drive business results through effective display execution and shelf set opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales efforts in the Chicago market to achieve product distribution, display execution, and revenue goals
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts and distributor partners
- Conduct store visits and implement effective display execution and shelf set opportunities
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of professional sales or distributor experience in the food and beverage or CPG industry
- Must be able to lift cases of product weighing 10-35 pounds
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle required for travel between multiple accounts
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and place product on overhead shelving
- Proven ability to approach accounts in an innovative and creative way to expand the business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with co-workers, distributors, and customers
- Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
