Digital Sales Leader, Streaming Media

Roku is a market leader in the streaming media industry and we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Sales Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue through video, home screen innovation, and custom sponsorship on the Roku platform.
This role requires evangelizing our advertising offering to agencies and direct brands, as well as managing a national sales team. A background in digital video advertising, premium publisher cross-platform media sales, and sponsorship sales is essential. The ideal candidate must be driven to work independently and resourceful to manage multiple duties, including cold calling, account management, media planning, campaign reporting & optimization, develop sales proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and ideate custom solutions.
The Digital Sales Leader will be a key contributor to revenue, working against aggressive advertising revenue goals. They will manage a team of Account Executives, research, develop, and pitch media plans and promotions featured on Roku, proactively build and maintain a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and sales opportunities via cold calling and leveraging their brand connections and their AORs, build and cultivate high-level agency/client relationships, collaborate with internal stakeholders on sales strategy for key agency and client partners, and report on revenue projections/forecasts.
We are looking for an individual with 5-7+ years' experience in advertising sales, preferably in the video, streaming, TV, display, social, mobile, and/or custom content space, 1-2+ years managing Account Executives, a successful track record in closing large, complex, and custom advertising sales with enterprise advertisers and key stakeholders at their agencies, and located in Chicago, IL.
