We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in the San Francisco area. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable:
- Review invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a timely manner.
- Process purchase orders and maintain vendor relationships.
- Identify and investigate payment holds and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment batches and reconcile accounts payable GL account.
- Monitor accounts payable aging schedule and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Corporate Credit Card Administration:
- Administer corporate credit cards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Respond to credit card-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with JPMorgan Chase Bank for credit card program matters.
- Prepare monthly accounting journal entries for credit card activity.
- Cash Handling:
- Manage on-hand cash and maintain a balanced petty cash box and Accounting safe.
- Coordinate cash pick-up and change orders with the Guest Experience department.
- Prepare deposit slip information and document GL account information.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Five plus years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
- Experience with a larger ERP system and strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Skill in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ability to manage and safeguard confidential documents and reports.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
