Houston, Texas, United States Onebrief, Inc. Full time

Overview
Onebrief, Inc. is at the forefront of revolutionizing military decision-making. Our innovative platform is designed for operational planning and is extensively utilized by major military headquarters globally. Currently, three of the four largest operational plans in the United States are developed using our solution.

We have successfully secured $44.6 million in venture capital from esteemed investors, including Human Capital, Caffeinated Capital, and Y Combinator. As a Series B company, we are on a trajectory towards an initial public offering in the near future.

Our dynamic team of 65 professionals is distributed across various locations, including Korea, Hawaii, the continental United States, the UK, Germany, and Italy. We are excited to expand our presence in regions such as Australia, Japan, and the Middle East.

Our users consistently express their satisfaction with our product, stating, "I will never plan again without Onebrief." In just three months, we experienced a fourfold increase in usage. Last year, we achieved an impressive 100% gross retention rate and 158% net retention. Our revenue also quadrupled, reaching double-digit millions, and we anticipate similar growth this year.

Your Role
As a founding Infrastructure Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of several high-stakes infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives that are vital for Onebrief's continued rapid expansion. Within the newly established Deployment Solutions team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading efforts to ensure reliable software performance on classified networks for both the United States and our international partners.
  • Facilitating customer access to Onebrief by managing engagements with industry and government stakeholders.
  • Enhancing our capabilities to monitor the performance of Onebrief's software on classified networks.
  • Enabling the robust deployment of Onebrief across classified networks of the United States and its allies.
  • Strengthening accountability within our Deployment Solutions organization and ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders across the Onebrief enterprise.

In this role, you will report directly to our Chief Information Security Officer.

About You
The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who can identify inefficiencies and drive the implementation of solutions with minimal guidance. Onebrief is undertaking several strategic initiatives to sustain its rapid growth, and you are someone who can effectively lead these efforts with little ramp-up time. You possess the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, collaborate across various functions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Core Skills:

  • Familiarity with the challenges of deploying software in classified environments and ensuring operational visibility.
  • A self-starter who can troubleshoot technical challenges and drive execution independently.
  • Quick learner of technical concepts, capable of leading strategic initiatives with limited prior knowledge.
  • Experienced in communicating and collaborating with diverse audiences, effectively bridging the gap between technical and non-technical team members.
  • Adept at navigating bureaucratic processes to optimize workflows and meet aggressive timelines.

Qualifications:
Experience managing complex software projects within an enterprise software company or startup environment is essential. Familiarity with the intricacies of deploying software to classified networks, particularly for the U.S. Department of Defense and its international partners, is advantageous.

  • 4+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in a technical capacity at a software company.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A relevant technical degree or experience in a technical software field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Design).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Willingness to pursue a Top Secret clearance, which will be a condition of full-time employment.

You are dedicated to creating value for real users, committed to reaching your full potential, and possess a blend of ambition, resourcefulness, and creative problem-solving skills. You learn rapidly, work iteratively, and naturally seek collaboration. You approach your work with integrity, intellectual honesty, and humility, communicating clearly and succinctly. You thrive as a self-starter, embracing autonomy and navigating ambiguity.
