Record Center Specialist

The Record Center Specialist plays a crucial role in serving clients by managing and processing physical assets within our facilities. These essential team members handle incoming and outgoing orders, as well as loading and relocating boxed items and wheeled bins. The RCS is responsible for managing destructions, internal relocations, permanent withdrawals, and special assignments. They work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming orders; scan carton barcodes and locations using the Safekeeper system.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies for incoming or outgoing orders; manifest all orders, bundle, and prepare for shipment.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation.
  • Communicate any complex order issues to the manager.
  • Inspect and maintain all equipment, including scanners and ladders.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any safety concerns.
  • Fulfill all physical demands independently.
  • Travel between facilities as required.
  • Mentor others when opportunities arise.
Essential Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. Demonstrates concern for all aspects of the role. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain on your feet throughout the day.
  • Lift, load, and move boxes (average weight: 40 pounds).
  • Climb stairs, lift up to 70 pounds, and utilize tools to maneuver materials.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of experience in a warehouse, service industry, or team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Commitment to follow and enforce all security protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
