What Impact Will You Make in This Role?

The Software Asset Management Lead will collaborate and engage with various stakeholders to develop and oversee the organization's Software Asset Management initiatives and IT Product Registry capabilities. This role involves managing the product and program roadmap while prioritizing the Engineering Team's sprint backlog in alignment with the IT Asset Management vision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving detailed design and actively participating in all phases of the iterative process to achieve desired program outcomes.

  • Design, develop, and oversee activities from solution definition and planning through to production, release, and retirement of products or processes related to IT Asset Management.
  • Act as the primary resource collaborating with design, process, development, testing, quality assurance, and marketing throughout all stages of a product or solution lifecycle.
  • Manage the features backlog by identifying and prioritizing features and capabilities through direct engagement with customers, analysts, developers, and architects, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.
  • Facilitate the resolution of risks, issues, and changes related to the program.
  • Involvement includes modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the technical solutions supporting the program.
  • In partnership with others, prioritize and maintain a product backlog consistent with expected outcomes, performing story elaboration and refinement with the team.
  • Communicate and collaborate to build consensus among stakeholders in crafting the solution design.
  • Review and demonstrate functionality with stakeholders and users.
  • Lead communications, training, and marketing related to user experience and expectations.
  • Ensure operational processes are functioning effectively to support the overall program and meet or exceed key performance measures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless, supportable capabilities are developed for our customers while adhering to high-quality standards.
  • Balance customer experience with regulatory compliance, ensuring audit deliverables are met with minimal disruption.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in complex audits from internal and external agencies related to IT Asset Management, delivering required resolutions aligned with the plan.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities for various stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management with a proven track record in defining effective product and process frameworks and delivering on an aligned roadmap.
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in a large, globally diverse organization is advantageous.
  • 1+ years of experience in audit/compliance.
  • A customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience in performing technical data analysis using input from various data sources.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority, focusing on creating buy-in.
  • Experience with rapid and iterative software development methodologies.
  • Proven track record in managing large, complex features or products with multiple partners.
  • Able to challenge the status quo and drive innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Recognizes the importance of teamwork in achieving objectives.
  • Adapts quickly and easily to change.
  • Knows when to escalate decisions and when to make on-the-spot decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the banking industry and/or applicable laws and regulatory requirements related to IT Asset Management.
  • Professional certifications (i.e., CSAM, CITAM, CHAMP, CAMSE or equivalent).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
