OEM Sales Engineer - Remote Opportunity
Competitive base salary ranging from $110K to $130K (dependent on location) plus performance bonuses and vehicle allowance.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrated experience in the industrial sector, particularly in sales to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and segment-specific challenges and opportunities within the designated territory. Develop a strategic business plan and implement sales initiatives that effectively address or leverage these situations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to cultivate trust and influence potential business opportunities.
- Enhance sales effectiveness through proactive lead generation, effective communication, and sharing of pertinent market segment insights. Participate in trade shows and manage customer inquiries, complaints, and requests for product information efficiently.
- Gain a thorough understanding of end-users and distribution channels to protect existing business and facilitate the introduction of innovative products. Maintain comprehensive records to support planning and follow-up activities.
- Support organizational objectives by gathering and disseminating information regarding competitive manufacturers, their products, sales strategies, and the major accounts they oversee.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an Engineering degree.
