Job Summary

The Gathering Spot is seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media content calendar that showcases our brand's personality and resonates with our target audience.
  • Manage and organize content from various sources, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Campaign Management: Measure the success of social media campaigns and provide data-driven insights to inform future content strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and industry standards to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attend events and activations to capture high-quality content that showcases our brand's personality and values.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • Novice skills with Adobe Creative Suite, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on producing timely, error-free work.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required.
  • Availability for weekend and evening work when necessary.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
