Head of Social Media Strategy

The Head of Social Media Strategy at Augmentjobs will spearhead the development and execution of the organization's social media initiatives aimed at amplifying brand awareness, engaging target demographics, and propelling business expansion.
Position Summary:
This role demands a visionary leader with a robust background in social media oversight, content development, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's overarching business objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor movements to refine strategies as necessary.
- Content Oversight: Supervise the generation and dissemination of captivating content across diverse social media channels. Ensure that all content is consistent with brand identity, pertinent, and tailored for each platform.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide a team of social media specialists. Set clear objectives, provide support, and manage performance to meet departmental and organizational targets.
- Campaign Execution: Design, implement, and evaluate social media campaigns. Leverage data and insights to assess performance, enhance campaigns, and report on return on investment.
- Brand Stewardship: Uphold and enhance the company's brand image on social media. Ensure uniformity in voice, messaging, and visuals across all platforms.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships within the online community. Interact with followers, address inquiries, and manage the online reputation.
- Performance Analytics: Utilize analytical tools to monitor social media effectiveness. Prepare and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner closely with marketing, public relations, and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign synergy. Collaborate with external agencies or partners as required.
- Crisis Management: Proactively manage any social media crises or negative feedback in a prompt and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or additional certifications in social media management is advantageous.
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in social media management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated success in executing social media campaigns and strategies.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record in team management and leadership.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple priorities.
