Overview:
Our client is in search of a seasoned Product Manager to spearhead the product strategy and define the roadmap for a project and portfolio management tool.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with end users, application teams, and key stakeholders to enhance the tool and evolve the product offerings.

This role encompasses overseeing the product line's lifecycle while proactively identifying potential challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include gathering business and systems requirements from both internal and external clients, drafting specifications and user stories, managing project timelines from design through to release, and overseeing the production launch.

You will coordinate design and implementation efforts between internal teams and external vendors to develop optimal solutions.

Making informed trade-offs to optimize time-to-market is essential, along with clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional and remote project teams.

Collaborating with senior product leadership is crucial to regularly refresh the product strategy or adjust as necessary to align with product direction.

The Product Manager will translate the strategy into epics, including user stories, mind maps, and product specifications.

Maintaining strategic partnerships throughout the organization is vital, acting as a key product advisor for the PPM Tool, and starting with the end user to define the product vision based on customer needs.

You will manage the feature development and defect backlog daily to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Participate in daily scrums with development teams to drive priority decisions and eliminate roadblocks.
Support cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the defined scope.
Communicate any changes in strategic direction or priority shifts to cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with various groups (process, Agile coaching, organizational change management, portfolio management, finance, etc.) to build and manage scope expectations.
Translate the tool/business strategy into clearly prioritized epics and user stories.
Ensure the appropriate delivery of those epics/user stories throughout the development lifecycle.
Assist the leadership team in translating product vision into presentations for executive audiences and partners across the organization.
Effectively utilize presentation tools to continuously enhance communication.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2-3+ years of experience in digital product management
