We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician III to join our team at KAGOME USA. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspection of production process equipment, utility support systems, and production rooms to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment problems, and provide technical assistance to production teams as needed.
- Installation and Setup: Support non-routine maintenance activities, including the installation of new equipment and setup clearances on filler machines.
- Supply Chain Management: Order parts, lubricants, and supplies pertinent to maintaining equipment, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspections performed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent with Electrical and Mechanical vocational training or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Three years of industrial maintenance experience with emphasis on PC-based programs, trouble shooting high and low voltage equipment and controls, and ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Certifications: Hazwoper, SCBA, First Aid/CPR certifications, and training in proper Emergency Response Procedures.
- Teamwork: Work well with others as a team and treat others with respect, conducting self in a professional manner and exhibiting the highest level of integrity.
- Communication: Ability to function with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with production teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Technical: Basic math skills, mechanical/electrical aptitude, and ability to learn how to drive a forklift.
This is a Safety Sensitive position that requires working in a fast-paced food plant environment with high noise levels, frequent interruptions, cold/hot and humid conditions, wet floors, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and machines with moving parts.
