Key Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:
Oversee team members and the implementation of Altec products and services, concentrating on the tactical execution of operational objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Manage staffing within the designated area, including headcount and vacation requests.
• Consistently communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Hold team members accountable for quality of work and performance through regular feedback and annual evaluations.
• Facilitate the disciplinary process as necessary.
• Ensure team members complete required training for effective job performance.
• Verify time records and attendance of associates.
• Assist in problem-solving and scheduling with team members and support teams to ensure products/services meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Organize modifications and updates to work processes.
• Schedule job assignments and production, including overtime when required.
• Engage with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and delivery records within the applicable business unit system.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to meet operational needs.
• Monitor and recommend repairs for the facility's physical assets and equipment.
• Continuously enhance safety records by addressing both physical safety concerns and compliance among team members.
• Plan, participate in, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee and maintain 5S programs for the area of responsibility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required, or
• Four years of industry-related experience, or
• One year in a leadership role within Altec or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are essential.
• Proficient general PC skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently.
• A valid Driver's License may be required.
• Capability to read and interpret manuals, prints, and schematics is preferred.
