About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Director to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading all location-level facets of buying, warehouse management, payables adherence, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the management team to purchase and manage the best quality, cost-effective products to delight our guests.
  • Lead the management and maintenance of all Birchstreet processes and data.
  • Work with partners on sponsorship deals to ensure a win-win outcome for both Levy and the partner.
  • Identify slow and dead stock items, working with culinary and operations teams to address the issue.
  • Forecast items with vendors.
  • Provide opportunity buys for new menu items.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a Purchasing/Supply Chain role.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred.
