Position Summary

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to contribute to the FAA's Technical Onboarding Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate business goals and formulate solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Create logical data frameworks, assess, and delineate both current and future business processes.
  • Identify, assess, and document business requirements, delivering work products throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize process enhancement and reengineering methodologies to drive modernization initiatives.
  • Support activity and data modeling, develop contemporary business practices, identify best practices, and establish performance metrics.
  • Conduct process analysis to support corrective actions aimed at enhancing performance.
  • Assist in crafting and executing interview processes for ATCS and technical staff, coordinating the execution of these processes.
  • Analyze program and project documentation as directed by the FAA Program Manager to evaluate progress towards objectives.
  • Maintain the FAA's tracking databases to ensure up-to-date knowledge of applicant and employment statuses.
  • Help prepare guidance materials for field managers and support staff regarding the implementation of new bargaining agreements and personnel policies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of public sector hiring initiatives to cultivate and sustain robust applicant pools based on FAA hiring requirements.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Familiarity with FAA systems and policies is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements, with the ability to effectively communicate concepts and proposed solutions.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance is required.
