Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled Senior Business Analyst to contribute to the FAA's Technical Onboarding Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate business goals and devise strategies to resolve operational challenges.
  • Create comprehensive data models and assess current and future business processes.
  • Identify, analyze, and document business needs, delivering essential outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize process enhancement and reengineering techniques to lead modernization initiatives.
  • Facilitate activity and data modeling, develop contemporary business practices, and establish performance metrics.
  • Conduct process analysis to support improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Assist in formulating and executing interview methodologies for technical staff and coordinate the implementation of these processes.
  • Analyze program and project documentation as directed to evaluate progress towards established objectives.
  • Maintain tracking systems to ensure up-to-date knowledge of applicant and employment statuses.
  • Support the creation of guidance materials for management and staff regarding new policies and organizational changes.
  • Contribute to the development of public sector recruitment strategies to ensure a robust applicant pool aligned with FAA hiring requirements.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in fields such as accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with FAA systems and regulations is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting business processes and effectively communicating proposed solutions.
  • Must be a US citizen or a green card holder.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance is necessary.
