Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Marketing and Business Development to join our team at Blackhornvc. As a key member of our marketing and business development team, you will play a critical role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Comprehensive Marketing Strategies: Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance market penetration.
- Lead Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring alignment with sales, product, and clinical teams.
- Drive Omnichannel Marketing Efforts: Drive omnichannel marketing efforts, leveraging digital, print, and in-person channels to reach multiple stakeholders within the healthcare industry.
- Manage and Mentor a High-Performing Marketing Team: Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and R&D, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and Execute Pricing, Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning Strategies: Develop and execute pricing, segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies to maximize market potential.
- Oversee Marketing Automation Tools and CRM Systems: Oversee the management of marketing automation tools and CRM systems to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Market Dynamics: Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Ensure Patient-Centric Marketing Efforts: Ensure all marketing activities are patient-centric and aligned with the company's mission and values.
- Monitor and Report on Marketing Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness and ROI.
- Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in Marketing: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on enterprise-level marketing within the healthcare industry.
- Proven Experience in Leading Successful Product Launches: Proven experience in leading successful product launches and omnichannel promotional campaigns.
- Strong Background in Strategy Development: Strong background in strategy development, pricing, segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
- Experience Managing Disruptive Technologies: Experience managing disruptive technologies in a startup environment.
- Demonstrated Ability to Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
