Position Overview:

Role: Senior Sales Manager

Oversee client accounts to ensure satisfaction and actively pursue both existing and new business opportunities, aiming to meet or surpass all revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, select, train, schedule, mentor, and support team members, ensuring adherence to established standards and alignment with Hotel Landy’s core values.
  • Optimize revenue by marketing all aspects of the hotel to both past and prospective clients.
  • Employ effective sales strategies to negotiate favorable terms that meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring all solicitation and closing activities are thoroughly documented.
  • Coordinate the involvement of various departments in servicing client accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Effectively communicate the advantages of the hotel to secure sales opportunities.
  • Engage in local travel to conduct external meetings, promote the hotel, and analyze competitors.
  • Represent the hotel at industry trade shows.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices in line with Hotel Landy’s environmental initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more.
  • Demonstrated success in sales is required, with prior experience in hospitality sales being advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Work hours may vary and can include occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Moderate travel between the hotel and client locations is necessary.
