We are seeking a dynamic Sales Person to join our team at Genius Sports, the official data, technology and commercial partner that powers the global ecosystem connecting sports, betting and media. As a key member of our sales team, you will drive the sales of our market-leading advertising solutions to brands and agencies, expanding our programmatic services through DSP platform sales and managed service activations.

Sales Role

Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a robust pipeline of new customer accounts, identifying and prioritizing potential clients for our advertising solutions, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, creating strategic proposals, collaborating with internal teams, participating in RFPs, staying updated on industry trends, and driving revenue growth.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in selling and scaling programmatic ad campaigns at DSP, Agency, or Trading Desk. Established relationships with advertising buying and planning agencies, direct client relationships, and a strong understanding of the sports content and advertising ecosystem are essential. Proven sales skills, including prospecting, cold calling, winning business, and selling ideas to new accounts, are also crucial. Exceptional organizational, issue resolution, and decision-making skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with all levels of the customer's organization and internal cross-functional teams are required. Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and other business purposes is also necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role is approximately $90,000 to $110,000, plus commission, dependent on relevant experience. This position is also eligible for Genius Sports Group's benefits plan, which includes health insurance, skills training, and many other perks.
