Position Summary
We are actively seeking a full-time bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Coordinator to enhance our HR Department. The Human Resources Coordinator will execute administrative functions and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the human resources division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome employees and respond to common inquiries from applicants and staff regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes, directing more complex queries to senior HR personnel.
  • Provide clerical assistance to the HR department, including preparing onboarding materials for new hires and managing office supply orders.
  • Maintain records of drivers' DOT physicals and ensure that CDL drivers' documentation is current, including annual state motor vehicle records and driver certification of violations.
  • Assist in coordinating random drug testing for drivers subject to DOT regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation are maintained.
  • Safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure all required documents are collected and properly filed.
  • Support the HR Department in sourcing and pre-screening candidates for various positions and updating the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with rent deductions and expense reimbursements.
  • Conduct employment verifications.
  • Help plan and execute special events such as benefit enrollment, wellness fairs, employee recognition events, and holiday celebrations.
  • Translate documents into Spanish and Haitian Creole as needed.
  • Maintain the bulletin board with employment posters, announcements, and other important information for employees.
  • Assist in the coordination and announcement of the Employee of the Quarter.
  • Collaborate with management to select the Employee Spotlight and prepare monthly newsletters.
  • Update the company’s LinkedIn page with employee events and announcements.
  • Adhere to employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
  • Associate's degree in a related field is required.
  • Prior office experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with an HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Capability to manage interruptions while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
