The successful candidate will engage with management to assess staffing and training requirements, proposing and executing tailored training initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and specialized skills training.
Key Responsibilities in Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee and implement all stages of the recruitment cycle as instructed.
- Leverage recruitment technologies to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
- Source candidates through various platforms, including internal databases and job boards.
- Conduct thorough pre-employment evaluations and assessments.
- Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline through effective communication and scheduling.
- Build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Deliver presentations to groups of candidates.
- Conduct behavioral interviews to select candidates aligned with team values.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experiences.
- Manage credentialing for specialized programs, ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate the provision of necessary personal protective equipment for new hires.
- Assist in managing internship and apprenticeship programs.
Training Coordination Duties:
- Organize all facets of new hire orientation and training tailored to position requirements.
- Provide interpretation services during training sessions as needed.
- Track and document skills development and achievements.
- Select trainers for hands-on training in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Record all training activities in the company's HR information systems.
- Ensure timely attendance and preparedness for orientation sessions.
- Engage with new hires during their initial weeks to provide feedback and support.
- Design and facilitate Greenlight meetings.
- Establish a structured training program for new employees.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions as required.
- Exercise independent judgment in developing additional training programs as requested.
People Operations Administration:
- Input data into the HRIS, including training records and employee benefits information.
- Manage inquiries directed to People Operations to optimize the Director's time.
- Assist in resolving ethics line cases.
- Support benefits administration with guidance from the benefits broker.
- Coordinate open enrollment sessions led by the benefits broker.
- Contribute to People Operations initiatives as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Collaborative approach with HR Generalists and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of adapting messages for diverse audiences.
- Ability to interact positively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to understand and navigate processes across various departments.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in recruiting and training development.
- Experience in designing and implementing training programs for operational staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
- Familiarity with HR modules and management systems is advantageous.
Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively in both languages.
Additional Requirements:
- Adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Availability for communication outside of regular hours as needed.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting and mobility.
