Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Farnam in Omaha, NE.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, register them into the system, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries, resolve guest complaints, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures, handle room assignments, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a house bank.
  • Safety and Security: Properly handle and account for keys, be knowledgeable of emergency procedures, and ensure guest safety and security.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, basic computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
