Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grant Coordinator to join our team at Chemeketa Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the National Professional Development Grant, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and coordinating all aspects of the grant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the National Professional Development Grant, including budget management, reporting requirements, and program evaluation.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the grant program, including staff assignments, curriculum development, and data collection.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, universities, and community-based organizations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in project coordination, federal grant reporting/data collection, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of grant management, hiring, evaluation, orientation, confidentiality, training and development, project management, functional budget monitoring, allocation, forecasts, strategic planning and goal setting, outcome reporting, conflict management and problem solving, oral, written and listening communication skills, and bicultural/multicultural skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with educator preparation pathways.
  • Experience with strategic course scheduling and data informed decision making.
  • Experience with high school or college level instruction.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
