Role Responsibilities:
Program planning offers a unique perspective on the complexities of helicopter production.

In this role, the candidate will gain insights into helicopter manufacturing through collaboration with Finance, Contracts, Proposals, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Supportability.

The ideal candidate should have planning experience and be prepared to quickly provide scheduling analytics and expertise to the program team.

This position is hybrid-virtual and will primarily engage with individuals in various locations. The candidate will serve as a program planner on our Maritime Systems (MS) team.

The individual will execute integrated program planning activities to support proposal, development, and production efforts related to Maritime Systems Programs.


As a Program Planning Specialist, you will collaborate within a cross-functional team, working with the business to deliver real-time solutions to our clients.

You will engage with program management, finance, customers, functional leads, and control account managers (CAMs). This role offers significant exposure within the aerospace sector and promotes career advancement opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:
Familiarity with scheduling software such as Deltek Open Plan and Microsoft Project
Understanding of Earned Value Management Concepts
Knowledge of Schedule Management and Planning Concepts
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and clients
Strong follow-up skills with a keen attention to detail and quality
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines

Desired Skills:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering/Management, Business Management, or a related discipline
Skills in influencing and relationship-building
Experience in proposal development
Familiarity with Kidasa Milestones Professional tool
Experience with Deltek Acumen tool
Knowledge of Risk & Opportunity Management
Experience in developing & maintaining Integrated Master Plans (IMP)
Experience in Schedule Risk Assessment & Analysis
Experience in generating & reporting Schedule Metrics
Understanding of Critical Path methodology
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin's Command Media
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin planning processes including Program Performance Management Process (PPMP)

Compensation:


The annual base salary range for this position in certain states is $61,300 - $117,500.
