Short-Term Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care
The primary objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive daily nursing services to each assigned resident, in alignment with their individual assessments and care plans, as well as directives from supervisory staff.
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will be entrusted with the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability essential for executing your designated tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document nursing notes in a clear and detailed manner that accurately reflects the care provided and the resident's responses.
- Complete and maintain necessary recordkeeping forms/charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid CT LPN License.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- COVID-19 Vaccination required.
- Current CPR, ACLS, or BLS Certification.
