Volt is actively seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team.

As an Environmental Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the execution of environmental restoration initiatives, ensuring compliance with all project specifications and regulations.
  • Overseeing multiple project sites with minimal supervision, coordinating various tasks and schedules to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols while managing field personnel, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining accurate daily field documentation and reporting.
  • Utilizing a strong understanding of construction methods and processes to guide project execution.
  • Identifying contract requirements and proactively addressing any potential changes or challenges.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals.
  • Minimizing scheduling conflicts through effective planning and communication.
  • Managing project budgets and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Coordinating procurement of materials and negotiating with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Conducting initial accident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participating in site assessments, gathering subcontractor quotes, and preparing comprehensive project estimates.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements.
  • Collaborating with senior management to establish strategic goals and objectives.
  • Providing mentorship and career development for a team of up to 10 direct reports.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project execution.
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demolition, or habitat restoration.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on construction projects.
  • Completion of Supervisor Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher.
  • Experience with USACE/Department of Defense contracts.
  • USACE Quality Control Training.
  • OSHA 30-hour Training.
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 annually

*Compensation will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, location, and specific job responsibilities.
