Position Overview

Essel is seeking a committed professional to oversee our environmental remediation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational and leadership abilities to guarantee that projects are executed efficiently, adhering to all stipulated guidelines and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple remediation projects concurrently with minimal oversight
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Coordinate activities of field staff, equipment operators, and subcontractors
  • Accurately document daily operations
  • Interpret contract stipulations and recognize potential modifications
  • Prepare budget estimates and manage financial resources
  • Reduce scheduling conflicts and ensure timely project advancement
  • Source materials and negotiate terms with suppliers
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and formulate safety protocols
  • Collaborate with upper management to establish objectives
  • Guide and mentor a team of up to 10 direct reports
  • Travel to various project locations as necessary

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in environmental remediation projects
  • Proven experience in leading construction projects with varied teams
  • Certification in supervisory training
