Currently, we are exclusively hiring drivers with a CDL.

Key Responsibilities of a Bus Operator:
  • Safely operate various transit buses or vehicles within a designated service area, adhering to a daily schedule
  • Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections as mandated
  • Stop at specified locations to load and unload passengers
  • Assist passengers with mobility aids and ensure their safety during transport
  • Report any deviations, incidents, or mechanical issues to dispatch
  • Ensure fare collection and provide necessary information to passengers
  • Communicate rules and regulations to passengers when required
  • Complete and submit reports regarding passengers and incidents
  • Utilize on-board computer systems for fare collection and destination displays.
Requirements for Bus Operators:
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Commercial Learner's Permit (at minimum); valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements preferred
  • At least 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work assigned shifts and hours
