Role Overview:
As an IT Support Engineer at VERSES, you will play a crucial role in delivering Tier 1 & 2 support to our international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure workstations securely for deployment.
- Assist remote end-users effectively.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support mobile device usage.
- Conduct routine maintenance on both software and hardware.
- Provide training to users on device and service utilization.
- Address incidents and support requests related to hardware and software.
- Perform audits for accounts, inventory, and services as needed.
- Implement Zero-Touch onboarding and Zero-Trust standards.
- Handle the receipt and shipment of company equipment.
- Deliver clear, step-by-step instructions remotely.
- Experience with AWS Workspace or security-related tasks.
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Hold certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, ICS2 CC, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years in desktop support, with experience in hybrid and global environments.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Basic understanding of Zero-Trust principles.
- Familiarity with controls methodology.
- Experience in email troubleshooting.
- Expertise in MacOS and Windows OS.
- Linux knowledge is advantageous.
- Expertise in Android and iOS platforms.
- In-depth understanding of deployment methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security concepts related to the CIA triad.
- Ability to ask targeted questions for problem diagnosis.
- Capability to work productively from home.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA CySA+, AWS Certified Security, or ISC2 CCSP, or equivalent are preferred.
