Ensuring that garments are clean, neatly folded, and returned to their rightful owners is one way we show our residents that they are valued and cared for.
We adhere to strict infection control protocols to safeguard the health of both residents and staff.All team members are accountable for maintaining these standards. Our resident demographic primarily consists of seniors with diverse levels of care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect soiled linens from the Soiled Linen Room at least three times daily.
- Wash, dry, fold, and iron residents' clothing.
- Manage the washing, drying, and folding of all bedding, linens, and household items.
- Maintain an organized and accurate system for clothing collection and processing.
- Exhibit proficiency in using labeling equipment for resident garments.
- Clean the interiors and exteriors of washers and dryers.
- Check and clean lint filters at least three times per shift and scrub laundry tubs weekly.
- Vacuum the work area at least once a week or more frequently as needed.
- Ensure that washers, dryers, and irons are turned off and secured when leaving the area for any duration.
- Regularly monitor chemical supplies.
- Assist the Housekeeping Department as required.
- Respond to reasonable requests from the Director of Environmental Services.
