Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Improvement Manager to join our team at VIVA HEALTH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to improve quality and performance measures associated with Medicare and Commercial lines of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Performance Improvement Initiatives: Develop and execute company-wide reporting to track performance on CMS Star measures and overall rating to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Analyst Team: Effectively manage the performance and outcomes of assigned analysts or other employees.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead the development and maintenance of complex data analytics and research projects related to strategies to improve assigned processes.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on technical, regulatory, and industry changes impacting assigned areas and effectively communicate changes to applicable stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement policies and procedures for standardized quality assurance of data exchanges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Public Health, Information Systems, Medical Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience conducting complex data analysis and interpretation, and 2 years of management experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, data visualization practices, and ability to manage multiple projects or assignments within expected time constraints.
  • Education: Master's in Business or health-related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Medicare Advantage Organization: Experience conducting data analytics with healthcare and financial data, particularly analytics related to the CMS Star Ratings.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or similar process management certification.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Health Maintenance Organizations, or other Health Insurance operations, and database management systems.
