Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and production operations, ensuring that we maintain the highest levels of customer service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a team of approximately 50-60 employees.
  • Implement and enforce systems and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and improve logistics and warehouse performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer service issues.
  • Work closely with the stock manager to ensure stock integrity policies are followed.
  • Enforce health and safety requirements and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Oversee and enforce site security policies.
Requirements:
  • Logistics distribution and supply chain experience, preferably in the healthcare, pharma, or life sciences industry.
  • Experience managing budgets up to £2m.
  • Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and lean methodologies.
  • Experience working with automation is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Prince2 methodologies is an advantage.
