As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients to determine solutions, and leading the design team through the development of contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical systems for projects, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop electrical system plans.
  • Lead the design team in the development of contract documents, including schematic documents, design documents, and construction documents.
  • Conduct facility assessments, field assessments, and engineering studies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer's License (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure within 1 year.
  • 10+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with a focus on electrical engineering.
  • Experience mentoring, training, and overseeing projects as a lead electrical engineer.
  • Proficient in Revit software and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, lighting technologies, fire alarm requirements, and building codes.
