Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at TowerPinkster. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for projects from beginning design to completion of construction administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design team in the development of contract documents for significant and complex projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine solutions and develop a mechanical system plan that meets their needs.
  • Manage existing client relationships and develop new relationships with future clients.
  • Oversee the production of all phases of construction documents, including schematic documents, design documents, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Conduct facility assessments, field assessments, and engineering studies, and perform commissioning work and site visits.
  • Create and write reports and presentations to clients.
  • Perform as Project Manager on mechanical-driven projects.
  • Lead and coordinate project efforts with other disciplines, clients, and construction partners to meet schedule milestones.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
  • P.E./Professional Licensure required; State of Indiana or Kentucky preferred.
  • LEED AP and/or ASHRAE accreditation preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of standards and codes.
  • 10 years of professional experience.
  • Multiple systems-based experience.
  • Experience in multiple market sectors, including commercial, government, K-12 education, higher education, and healthcare.
  • Experience in Construction Administration.
