Suffolk is a leading national construction management company that provides value throughout the entire project lifecycle. As a Senior Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading field operations and execution for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor projects for conformance with the construction schedule, expected quality levels, and adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Develop relationships with clients and architects to generate client satisfaction
  • Mentor, coach, and train field staff to perform and ensure effective matching of talent to project scope
  • Provide leadership, advice, and assistance to field staff regarding materials, sequencing, scheduling, personnel, and methods of construction
  • Review projects for constructability and develop a plan for construction
  • Confirm baseline schedule achieves delivery requirements of the project
  • Provide input on budgets and determine field staff requirements
  • Attend Project Turnover meeting and provide Project Team input on scope reviews and Exhibit "B"s

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience relative to size/scope of projects
  • Excellent diplomatic and communication skills
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflict effectively in a firm but fair manner
