Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at TowerPinkster. This position is responsible for the structural analysis and design of buildings, as well as assisting in the preparation of structural engineering calculations and specifications. The ideal candidate will have ten to fifteen years of professional experience in the AEC industry and be able to develop drawings within a BIM environment.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Lead and coordinate project efforts with other disciplines, clients, and construction partners to meet schedule milestones.
  • Assist with quality checks and ensure the reviews of all projects.
  • Conduct facility assessments, field assessments, and engineering studies.
  • Mentor team members to share experiences, knowledge, skills, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert to resolve project structural challenges.
  • Lead and coordinate project efforts with other disciplines, clients, and construction partners to meet schedule milestones.

Mentorship

  • Mentor team members to share experiences, knowledge, skills, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Assist the Manager of the department in creating training and mentorship opportunities for individuals and the team.

Leadership

  • Provide input on work priorities and project scheduling.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on various projects.
  • Serve as a structural engineering subject matter expert to resolve project issues.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Professional Licensure.
  • 15 years' experience in the A/E Industry preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience leading project teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of A/E construction documents and construction industry preferred.
