Job Summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to join our team in New Albany, Indiana. As a Co-Op, you will work with various managers and areas within our engineering department to gain exposure to different aspects of engineering. Your responsibilities will include completing assigned projects, building trust with team members, maintaining customer focus, and initiating and following up on actions taken.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with senior engineers to complete assigned projects
  • Gain exposure to different technologies used at Samtec, including 3D/parametric part and tooling design, finite element analysis, and more
  • Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals

Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
