Key responsibilities include developing proposal volumes, researching and writing with SME support, and maintaining a proposal library/repository. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Business Development team on large, complex proposals with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control.
  • Prepare and maintain proposal schedules and workspace.
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, including proposal kick-off meetings, stand-up meetings, editorial and quality/compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate proposal production activities, including hardcopy, email, and upload.
  • Complete various proposal-related forms.
  • Track action items and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with proposal contributors to ensure assignments are completed as specified and within deadline.
  • Prepare or complete cross-reference matrices, forms, and outlines.
  • Perform compliance checks to confirm material provided by contributors meets RFP requirements or company guidelines.
  • Maintain proposal file structure and support distribution of proposal files.
  • Format proposals in accordance with PCI-WBO standard proposal templates, collaborating with the desktop publishing team for complex formatting.
  • Coordinate graphics, desktop publishing, editing, and proofreading for assigned proposals.
  • Archive final proposals and re-usable proposal content following final submission.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of GOVCON Proposal Development/Proposal Production experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university (10+ years' experience may negate the degree requirement).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Experience delivering bids that address complex requirements.
  • A clear understanding of tactical proposal management with a sharp eye for details.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
