About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Sterling Kohler. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple cloud-focused projects, managing ongoing projects, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams to deliver operational efficiency needs.
  • Oversee multiple simultaneous and technically demanding cloud-focused projects.
  • Manage ongoing projects, kick-offs, reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Develop and manage full lifecycle projects, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Partner with architects, development teams, and program managers to deliver operational efficiency needs.
  • Guide highly skilled engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement project management procedures, frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Create documentation to support plans and processes, driving consistency and alignment across teams.
  • Utilize data to drive strategic decisions and reporting.
  • Report on project health, success metrics, and active progress.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or other technical certifications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AWS cloud Platform.
  • Travel to Sterling Kohler locations as needed.
  • Availability to work outside of normal business hours to collaborate with teams and vendors located across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS/engineering or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution. Master's is preferred.
  • Proficiency in deep software architecture, systems design, and best practices for Professional Services in the Cloud.
  • Excellent analytical and data querying experience.
  • Skills in SQL, python scripting, dashboarding tools, automation, and programming at beginner or higher level.
  • Experience with IoT devices/platforms.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change.
  • Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup.
  • Exemplary collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions.
