Grants Support Specialist

Job Summary
The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Grants Support Specialist to join its Resident Initiatives team. This dynamic role will be responsible for researching public and private grant opportunities, preparing grant applications, and managing grant-related post-award functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities in areas such as community engagement, community programming, and affordable housing.
- Prepare grant applications, including project plans, letters of support, and other required materials.
- Coordinate with NYCHA program staff and community-based organization partners to develop grant proposals.
- Manage grant-related post-award functions, including expense analysis and grant closeout.
- Lead regular grants tracking meetings between NYCHA and Finance.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities.
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community-centered activities.
