Job Description

General Kinematics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth and contribute to the company's success in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve specific sales goals for new equipment and aftermarket parts in the assigned region.
  • Lead sales projects through the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting company and products, and negotiating contracts.
  • Travel extensively within the region to meet with customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including industry directors and component sales managers, to provide customers with competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Engage with external manufacturer representatives to assist in qualifying leads and developing a pipeline of prospects and customers.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities for General Kinematics Corporation's products and services.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications to ensure design integrity and quality.
  • Monitor market acceptance of the company's products and prepare reports with recommendations and findings.
  • Deliver sales presentations and attend industry-specific trade shows as required.
  • Oversee and improve the sales department's functions and processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with the regional sales manager and submit quarterly regional strategic plans.
  • Support the company's ISO objectives, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the process equipment industry.
  • Knowledge of vibratory equipment and industry focus in process equipment is a plus.
  • Previous corporate/key account management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, with a working knowledge of CAD.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
