Automotive Parts Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate verification and distribution of automotive parts, facilitating efficient repairs.
  • Receive, tag, and distribute parts promptly upon arrival or by 9 AM for overnight shipments.
  • Confirm the accuracy of parts through a mirror match process.
  • Organize parts into designated carts/containers and deliver them to appropriate workstations.
  • Manage the posting and scanning of parts.
  • Handle returns and reorders for incorrect or damaged items.
  • Monitor outstanding orders, backorders, and credits, following up as needed.
  • Execute urgent parts runs as required.
  • Maintain zero pending credits.
  • Keep the workspace tidy and organized.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid Driver's License is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in person.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

The role involves regular use of hands, with frequent communication required. Employees may stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
