About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance service to HVAC, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, cooking equipment, and water heaters. Maintain the preventative schedule as outlined for the restaurants.
  2. Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe work environment, including the truck, maintenance shop, and restaurants where work is being performed. Perform required cleaning on items in the soak tank from PM service on cooking equipment. Clean, organize, and maintain the workshop daily.
  3. Emergency Support: Provide support for emergencies and unscheduled repairs to restaurant equipment and/or the building. Support technicians with parts/equipment pull, staging, and deliveries as needed.
  4. Inventory Management: Keep records such as invoices and assist the Inventory Parts Specialist with maintaining inventory on trucks, warehouse inventory levels, restocking parts as needed. Complete Zenput Facilities Walk at stores quarterly.
  5. Equipment Identification: Identify, resolve, and alert management to any equipment or building issues for future repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or at least 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, and comfortable working independently with minimum supervision.
