Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at CER-MET INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and performing secretarial, clerical, and other office duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures, as well as excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee payroll preparation, including obtaining employee documents, data entry, and accuracy checks.
  2. Review vendor invoices for accuracy and match to purchase orders.
  3. Produce complete and accurate invoices to customers.
  4. Organize and file invoices, checks, payroll documents, and employee roster.
  5. Oversee and maintain safety training records and submit accident reports.
  6. Assist managers and superintendents in procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  7. Calculate project costs and determine feasibility based on collected data.
  8. Prepare customer project proposals to define scope of work and communicate price.
  9. Track assigned projects using analytical tools and recommend corrective action plans.
  10. Prepare outstanding accounts receivable and resolve disputes and delinquencies.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience as an Office Manager or similar position preferred.
  • 5+ years Sage Accounting Software experience.
  • High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
