Job Summary

The Administrative Specialist II provides administrative and clerical support to the department, ensuring the smooth operation of departmental business. This role serves as a resource to staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes creative problem-solving and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the department, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Serve as a resource to staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; education in basic office procedures preferred.
  • Two years of administrative support experience required; experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
