Position Overview:

The Senior Third Party Risk Manager will be engaged in a Contract to Hire role, operating in a 100% Remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary authority in identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to third parties that handle or access sensitive and confidential information on behalf of the organization.
  • Evaluate existing procedures and controls to ensure adherence to relevant company policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead due diligence initiatives across various departments, ensuring active participation from key stakeholders in the risk assessment and acceptance process.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, and guiding the vendor evaluation process.
  • Deliver training sessions across the organization to promote awareness and compliance regarding Third Party Risk Management (TPRM).
  • Enhance the development of dashboards and reporting tools to showcase critical TPRM program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs); maintain these tools for leadership reporting as necessary.
  • Assist the program lead with ongoing strategic initiatives aimed at improving program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Program Management or a comparable IT program management role. Experience in security, governance, risk, or compliance is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams for contract language evaluations.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools utilized for conducting TPRM assessments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience is required; an advanced degree and additional Information Security certifications (such as CTPRP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) are preferred.
